Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Basketball Official

Serving as a PIAA official for basketball games has provided me with a unique perspective on the sport. This role has enhanced my understanding of the game while allowing me to contribute to its integrity and fairness. Each game presents its own challenges, requiring me to make quick, decisive calls while maintaining a strong sense of authority on the court. Interacting with players and coaches has taught me valuable communication skills and the importance of sportsmanship. This experience has not only deepened my love for basketball but has also instilled in me a sense of responsibility to uphold the rules and spirit of the game.

LJU Outdoor Services Owner

Owning LJU Outdoor Services has been an amazing experience that combines my love for the outdoors with my entrepreneurial goals. I’ve learned so much about running a business, from managing projects to building relationships with clients. Each landscaping job has taught me the importance of hard work and dedication, and I take pride in providing quality service. All of my success would not be here without my father, who owns Lawn and Order Landscaping. (missing from the picture is worker Michael Chemchick)

Additionally, I had the opportunity to sponsor my own basketball team by donating funds to support a local cause. This experience was rewarding because it allowed me to give back to my community. I believe in fostering a positive environment for young athletes, and being able to contribute to their development has been incredibly fulfilling.

Working for my dad’s business, Lawn and Order Landscaping, has been a valuable experience that has taught me about hard work, responsibility, and what it takes to run a successful company. My dad’s dedication to his clients and attention to detail inspires me to give my best on every job, whether it is mowing lawns, trimming hedges, or helping with larger landscaping projects. Through this experience, I have developed skills in time management, teamwork, and customer service while deepening my appreciation for the value of honest work. Watching my dad build his business motivates me to work hard and pursue my own entrepreneurial goals.
